14k Yellow Gold Antique Victorian Greek Goddess Selene Cameo Necklace (c.1915)

This antique necklace is made of 14k yellow gold and features two sections of a hand carved shell. The smaller section has a floral design, and the larger section is a cameo of the Greek goddess of the moon, Selene with light streaks of pink visible on both sections. The chain is measured at 20 inches and has “1AR” & “500” stamped onto sections of the clasp. Circa 1915. Arezzo, Italy.
